Day 263 of the 365 to 40 project. This is absolutely not the prettiest photo you are going to see but I find it kind of fascinating. I found a small, ratty and weathered feather in the yard. Initially I didn’t think much of it until a chance flick of it under a bright LED caused the brigt blue bands to leap out. A little expermiting and by using a bright backlit combined with a strong angled light the bands are really vivid.
