Day 185 of the 365 to 40 project. Not having a huge amount of luck with photographing the birds this week. This shot is of a rosella sitting on a power line a reasonable distance away. In its original colour form the bird was almost nothing but a blob of colourful noise but by cropping the image in, flipping to black and white and patiently adjusting lights and darks I managed to get something out of it. It’s still quite noisy but at least the bird is visible for what it is now.
