Starting to do some practise shots with the Laowa 60mm F/2.8 2X ultra macro lens. It’s an entirely manual lens with no auto focus or camera driven aperture control which is taking a lot of patience to get used to.
This shot is of a croton plant leaf at maximum 2:1 magnication. The level of detail it brings out in the leaf structure is facinating to me. Its going to take quite some time to get better with this lens but so far it shows some serious promise in making some very interesting photos.
