Day 339 of the 365 to 40 project. I’m currently in the process of building a dry creek bed in the front yard. Partly for flood management, partly for having less grass to mow and partly to provide another different environment for the local animals to enjoy. The most recent part I completed in this task is lining the dug out trench with some geotex material to provide a water permeable but protective layer between the soil and the gravel/river rocks to come. To achieve this I’ve been cutting the geotex material with the ever handy stanley knife, this shot is a close up look at the grip on the handle of that knife.
