Day 286 of the 365 to 40 project. One my favourite rocks in the collection, a fairly raw chunk of amethyst crystal. Its lit from underneath using a Lumecube – a small light that is one of my go to sources I use on a daily basis for most of my indoor shots. Mine dates back to the original kickstarter but since then they’ve released newer and better models and I’m sorely tempted to upgrade or at least get another to augment the current set up.
