Day 173 of the 365 to 40 project. So today was slightly exciting. A combination of a short lived but exceptionally heavy rain, badly designed storm drains and just plain bad luck lead to our front yard flooding. Some frantic work managed to stop it from flooding the house itself but it did manage to flood the garage again so looks like we’re doing another clean out. Fortunately we learnt from last time and all the important stuff was up on shelves. This is a shot from my phone of the roiling sky after the worst of the rain had been dropped.
