Day 158 of the 365 to 40 project. The underside of a dying leaf taken from a nectarine tree we planted late last year. I’m not sure what that little nodule is but it looks pretty cool under high magnification. The tree has thrived quite well since being planted and is only losing a few leaves due to heat stress in the recent days of high heat.
