Day 142 of the 365 to 40 project. A feather from one of the young magpies in our area. Most people only know magpies by their reputation for their yearly dive bombing of people that come too close to their nest but honestly they are great native birds to have around. A little nice treatment and you’ll have a magpie family friendly for life. Ours like to taunt our cats by clowning around in front of their watching window.
