Day 117 of the 365 to 40 project. This ball of hairy mess is the yet to bloom flower pod from a borage plant. This one unfortunately fell off during today’s extreme heat event where we topped out at 44c (111.2f). Even now many hours after sunset and close to midnight the outside world is still sitting at 35c (95f) but fortunately the next few days are set to be much milder for us. Unfortunately much of Australia isn’t so lucky and is still baking in the heat and fires so please stay safe all.
