Day 28 of the 365 to 40 project. Opted to do some more practise work with the telephoto lens and the local birds in the area. Here we have a vivid Crimson Rosella coming for a visit once a pair of extremely noisy lorikeets have moved on. Despite being larger than the lorikeets they generally don’t like causing too much of a fuss.
Also have a few bonus photos from today. First up is a Galah diving off a power line, I unfortunately couldn’t get too many shots of this one before they vanished into the sunset.
And here we have one of the aforementioned Rainbow Lorikeets giving everything around it the glare in case it can find someone to shriek at.
