Day 24 of the 365 to 40 project. Despite looking like the worst bowl of cereal ever this is a close up shot of a layer of “cork” on a tripod base mount to provide additional grip. In this particular case the cork used isn’t the bark from a cork oak (Quercus suber) but rather a mix of recycled soft wood and rubber from discarded tyres.
