Day 13 of the 365 to 40 project. Another attempt with the ultra macro lens, this time with a small chunk of amethyst – roughly the size of a fingernail with a fair few even smaller crystalline peaks. You can even see the tiny red threads from the cloth I wiped it off with which I absolutely could not see with the naked eye.
